May your
winter solstice and holiday season be
peaceful and spleen-sweet and your new
year prosperous and happy!
2009
The
Executive Board at the Acupuncture
Society of Washington D.C. has been busy
planning for 2009. There is time,
however, for us to integrate your ideas.
We’d like to hear from you and what you
might like to see from our professional
association. Write to us at
info@dcacupuncture.org.
We have
scheduled three dates in which to meet
with our members:
March 28, 2009Saturday morning
July 21,
2009 Tuesday evening
October 3, 2009 Saturday morning
Location
is to be determined later. DC libraries
are our usual meeting place. If
circumstances require, we will add
meeting dates to the schedule.
Membership Renewal
Our
membership drive is under way. We’d like
to let you know that all membership
renewals are due no later than March 15,
2009. ASDC members are listed on our
website. Members get a 10% discount at
all MAS and VAS seminars and workshops
and also receive discounts from vendors
and for various seminars (such as the
recent Building Bridges of
Integration seminar).
We’ll
also be adding a Community Bulletin
Board to our website. Members will be
able to post openings, sell items or
practices or announce useful information
to other members for free. Non-members
will pay a fee.
Positions Open
We’d
like to recruit new officers and fill
vacant positions:
Website Coordinator
Treasurer
Please
forward this to new practitioners that
you know or send us their contact
information. We’ll be happy to contact
them.
